Online Gun Dealer Exclusive CA Compliance

Online Gun Dealer is proud to assist California firearm dealers by providing firearms that are not typically available in California-compliant configurations. We can modify nearly any rifle to meet California legal standards for your store.

As a California dealer, you no longer have to rely on CA-specific SKUs being in stock. We empower our dealers to stock and special-order firearms that are usually only available in “free” states. Online Gun Dealer allows you to take special orders, helping you avoid losing sales due to California’s restrictive firearm laws. We offer direct distribution and drop shipments under your account terms.

New Dealers
If you are a gun store in California or another restrictive state, please download our dealer agreement and return it with the required documentation to dealers@onlinegundealer.com. Once we receive your submission, an Online Gun Dealer representative will contact you with further information and provide our dealer conversion price sheet.

How to Place an Order
Submit your order through your preferred distributor as usual, and instruct your rep to forward the rifle(s) to us. Most distributors and California regional reps already have our FFL on file. However, feel free to forward our FFL if necessary, or contact us so we can reach out to your rep directly.

Once we receive your shipment, it will enter our processing queue. Orders are fulfilled in the order they are received. After processing, we will create an invoice detailing the services performed, include FedEx tracking information, and issue a CFLC. All this information will be sent to the email address on file.

Our current lead time is approximately 2-3 weeks from the date the shipment is received. Special orders take about 3 weeks. Please note that shipping times to us vary by distributor and are beyond our control. Expedited orders can be quoted upon request to cover expedited shipping and overtime rates.

Additional Services

Single-Action Conversions
Manufacturers have generally been accommodating to California’s Handgun Roster requirements with revolvers. However, for those that aren’t compliant, we can convert most revolvers to single-action exempt. To qualify, revolvers must have a barrel length of no less than 3” and an overall length of at least 7.5”.

No-Ship-to-CA Forwarding Service
If your supplier won’t ship a product to California due to Prop 65 or other internal regulations, please contact us—we can help!

Magazine Blocking
In most cases, one-off magazine blocking is not cost-effective. Some magazines experience reliability issues when riveted, so we rely exclusively on commercial mag-blocks. Due to the vast variety of magazine types, we often need to special-order mag blocks, which can quickly increase the cost (e.g., a 4magblockmaybecome4magblockmaybecome10 after shipping). Add labor, and the service becomes cost-prohibitive for inexpensive magazines. This service is most practical for high-value proprietary magazines or bulk orders and is handled on a case-by-case basis.
